Global Tax Alliances Leader @ PwC


ACurrently serves as PwC’s Global and German Tax and Legal Managed Services / Alliances Leader and is a member of PwC's Tax Global Leadership Team.

As the PwC’s Tax and Legal Global Managed Services and Alliances leader, responsible for setting the PwC’s Tax and Legal strategy for how managed services and third-party relationships are driving PwC’s delivery of Trust and Sustained Outcomes under our New Equation strategy. PwC is uniquely positioned to be our clients' Digital Business Partner of choice as they leverage deep technical expertise, technology, data and new business and talent models to enhance the value they deliver to their customers.

Klaus previously headed the Tax & Legal Services at PwC Germany and was Chairman of the Tax Board and Member of the Management Board. His previous roles include the Tax & Legal Technology & Business Transformation Leader for PwC Germany/Europe. He was also leading PwC's German M&A Tax and Private Equity Tax practise. Based in Munich, Klaus serves as a Partner with over 23 years of broad experience still some well-known Private Equity and multinational clients, providing a full range of tax services. He is both a certified tax advisor and attorney at law.

Klaus has worked with many Private Equity clients and our global clients to develop and implement solutions in international M&A transactions, joint ventures and reorganisations in areas such as international tax structuring, SPA advice and due diligence.

In addition to his client work, Klaus is also actively involved with many of PwC's German and global technology and business transformation initiatives designed to transform, disrupt and grow our tax & legal business.

His mission is to create solutions ensuring the continued success of his clients in an environment of major challenges and increased uncertainty. Klaus listens carefully when he is with his clients and makes sure to holistically understand a problem before advising them.
