Chris has 10 years of working within global VAT/GST and customs in the big-4 firms. He has experience working in New Zealand, Malaysia, the Middle East, and in the UK. He has worked on international VAT/GST consulting projects for multinational clients, including VAT/GST implementation projects in Malaysia and the Middle East. He also established indirect tax compliance processes for a boutique consultancy firm, and has worked on indirect tax process improvement, technology, and change management projects prior to joining Avalara. He is an enrolled barrister and solicitor in New Zealand.
